Amazingly, it’s now six years since we relaunched AML. A good excuse for a little celebration, we thought – which is why we asked along the families and friends whose support we depend on to say a small thank-you at the Hoxton Grill last week.
It was good to see some old faces, meet some new partners and just let ourselves go a bit. (Apologies to our lovely clients, without whom we couldn’t have done it – we’ll have a bigger party and invite you next time!)
We’ve come a long way since the first few of us got together in an office near the Gherkin with a couple of clients and a clear vision of doing simple ideas for complicated businesses. Since then we’ve moved to the groovier surroundings of Clerkenwell; we’ve won lots of awards; we’ve created some highly successful global campaigns (local campaigns too – in the USA and Asia, as well as UK and Europe).
We’ve been joined by some lovely, talented people and some outstanding clients who have believed in challenging strategies and let us produce some of our dafter creative ideas; according to our latest survey, they seem to be pretty happy with what we do for them. Thanks to them, thanks to everyone who came, thanks to those who couldn’t make it and most of all, thanks to all the people we’ve worked with over the last six years.
It’s been a lot of fun so far. And we think there’s even more fun on the way.
